When bulk rather than weight is the issue, the 14-yard enclosed municipal skip is the answer: large, fully enclosed and secure, accepting black bags, wood, metal, plasterboard, ceramics and glass up to 6 tonnes. It’s the one skip that takes plasterboard, but it won’t accept heavy inert waste — keep brick, concrete, rubble, soil, gravel, tiles and plastics for the 8-yard skips.
