It takes black bags, wood, metal, plastics, glass, ceramics and tiles, plus brick, concrete, rubble, soil and gravel, to a 6-tonne maximum, and copes easily with bulky items. Plasterboard is the one material it can’t accept.
The 14-yard enclosed municipal skip suits big, light clearances where security matters, its fully enclosed sides keeping waste contained and out of sight. It accepts black bags, wood, metal, plasterboard, ceramics and glass to a 6-tonne limit, and is the only skip that takes plasterboard. Heavy inert waste isn’t allowed, so brick, concrete, rubble, soil, gravel, tiles and plastics should go in an 8-yard skip.
