With an open top that swallows bulky items, it accepts a broad mix — black bags, wood, metal, plastics, glass, ceramics and tiles, plus brick, concrete, rubble, soil and gravel — all to a 6-tonne limit. The only thing it won’t take is plasterboard.
Where the clearance produces plenty of bulky but lighter waste, the 14-yard enclosed municipal skip gives you the room. Fully enclosed for security, it accepts black bags, wood, metal, plasterboard, ceramics and glass to a 6-tonne limit — and it’s the only skip in the range that takes plasterboard. Because it isn’t built for heavy material, brick, concrete, rubble, soil, gravel, tiles and plastics should go in one of the 8-yard skips instead.
